Personal / Individual Therapy

Understanding yourself and what is keeping you stuck

Life can sometimes feel difficult to make sense of. You may be experiencing anxiety, stress or burnout, struggling in your relationships, or simply feel that something in your life isn't quite right.

Sometimes we know that we want things to change but are less clear about why we feel the way we do or why we keep finding ourselves in the same situations.

Individual therapy provides a space to slow down, explore what you are experiencing and begin to understand the thoughts, feelings and patterns that may be influencing your life.

The aim is not simply to manage difficulties in the short term, but to develop a deeper understanding of yourself and create the possibility for meaningful and lasting change.

When things feel difficult

You may be:

  • Feeling anxious, overwhelmed or emotionally exhausted

  • Experiencing stress or burnout

  • Feeling stuck, even though you know you want things to change

  • Struggling with confidence or self-worth

  • Finding relationships difficult or experiencing the same patterns repeatedly

  • Finding it difficult to understand or express your feelings

  • Feeling disconnected from yourself or from other people

  • Going through a significant change or transition in your life

  • Feeling that you are managing on the outside while struggling internally

  • Wondering why you keep responding to situations in the same way

  •

You don't need to know exactly what is wrong before starting therapy.

What individual therapy offers

A space to slow down and explore

Life can become busy and demanding, leaving little time to stop and think about what you are actually experiencing.

Therapy provides a space where you can slow down and pay attention to what is happening for you.

There is no need to arrive with all the answers. We can explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences together and consider what may be important beneath the surface.

The difficulty that brings you to therapy is not always the whole story.

Anxiety, burnout, relationship difficulties or feeling stuck can sometimes be connected to patterns that have developed over time.

Therapy can help you become more aware of these patterns and explore how they may be affecting the way you see yourself, relate to others and respond to situations in your life.
