My name is Daniel Arnold
I am a BACP-registered therapist working with individuals and couples who are struggling to find connection, understanding, or peace in their life. Whether facing conflict, distance, betrayal, life transitions, or a sense of being “stuck,” I offer a therapeutic space to slow down and explore what lies beneath the surface. My work is grounded in the belief that emotional distress often has deep roots in early relationships, and that healing involves making sense of the patterns we carry—sometimes unknowingly into our adult lives.
I have worked for many years in a respected charitable setting, supporting individuals and couples facing a wide range of psychological challenges including anxiety, depression, grief, and trauma. I bring that experience into my private practice, offering a space that is thoughtful, reflective, and attuned to the emotional and existential questions that many of us face.
I have particular experience working with burnout, especially where emotional exhaustion and perfectionism have led to a sense of disconnection—from self, from others, or from life’s deeper meaning. For many clients, this also includes a sense of spiritual depletion. I offer space to explore not just psychological wounds, but also the longing for reconnection—whether to purpose, inner vitality, or a broader spiritual framework.
Prior to becoming a therapist, I spent over three decades in leadership, consultancy, I.T and creative community projects. These experiences taught me how people function under pressure, how identity is shaped in the workplace, and how resilience can be both cultivated and compromised. I also operate a community-rooted coffee and food business that reflects my belief in connection and belonging for mental well-being.
Therapy with me provides you the space to hear your own voice more clearly rooted in psychodynamic thinking. I also draw on continued lifelong learning with further training in grief work, BPD and object related couples to mention a few.
